To get a PCC in Riyadh you first have to file your canadian Immigration, once your file is in process sometime during this stage your VO will send you a letter requesting to submit the PCC, this letter should be taken to CHC in Riyadh where they will provide issue you letter requesting the MOI to issue a PCC for you.

Without filing your application you can't get a PCC.

Check info on this site from cic website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/saudi-arabia.asp

Additionally as suggested by sho78 post your query on the saudi arabia applicant thread if you haven't already to get responses from people who likely have gone thru the process

The whole process must not take more than 2 days, add to that another day to get your PCC translated into english.

After MOI you have take it to a Police office situated in central riyadh, near the main mosque, I don't remember the address as I did that a few years back.

Many thanks shaafqatz,

Is there any finger print taken at the police, should I take my wife also or if I take my wife's iqama/passport is it enough?

Hi smartcard, Cheesy

Carry your's and wife's iqama while going to Ministry of Foreign affairs office which is located at Nassriah after King Faisal Specialist Hospital. Please note that if you don't reach there early before 8 am, you may not get parking any where around. May have to walk in the soaring heat.  So better you park your car in  any  shopping mall nearby and take a taxi to drop you in front of Ministry office.  There you have to pass thru security check. At the counter for PCC you  have to  give the letter from embassy (in arabic only) and your iqamas.  After paying the fee ( was 60/-SR per head - now ?? )the guy after verification will stamp on the PCC request letter.

Your wife is not required to present at the Ministry office. You can take her iqama and letter.

Preferably next day early morning go with your wife to  the Dheira Police headquarters for finger print. If you don't know the place get taxi from Batha area.

Take the original passports with you. Your wife has to go to the ladies section and of course you will be treated at the male section.

After finger print and document verification both can return back. They will give a token asking to report within a week's time.

On or after that day you can go with the token and collect the PCCs for both from the first floor of the building.

Hope this is clear for you. Good luck!!
