Hi all,
Has anyone gone through the process of obtaining a Police Clearance for Saudi Arabia from Saudi embassy in New Delhi, India? Please share your experience for;
Documents required? Is there any fee involved? How much time they might take?
Any reply/suggestion would be highly appreciated.
Regards

Dear Peace
NO fee will be involved in obtaining PCC from saudi arabia. If u r residing in Saudi Arabia pls fax ur AOR and PCC request containing File no to Canadian High commission they will will give u letter in arabic addressing to Ministry of Foreign affair, u can pick this letter personally from Canadian High Commission or ask for courier it will charge SR 120/=
second step is take this letter to Ministry of Foreigh affairs Pay Sr 30/= to get attested
third and last step is go to finger prints dept in riyadh or any other city u r residing they will take this letter from u and copy of iqama u have to give ur finger prints and they will ask u to come after 8 days, that's it, it is very simple to take PCC from Saudi Arabia if u r residing here.
hope it is clear to you. total charges will be 30 SAR only and additional 120 if u r not picking letter directly from canadain embassy.
best of luck go ahead it is easy just like that no prbolem over here

Saudi is one country where if u r not a resident currently it is very difficult to get the PCC and Canadian High Commission is aware of the same. If u r sending ur full docs across just write to them that it is difficult to get a saudi pcc as u r currently not employed there. Next while sending ur docs especially Saudi experience certificate attach the passport page (zerox)with Saudi cancelled visa and entry & exit stamps. If they still need the same at the time of medicals they will send along a covering letter requesting Saudi embassy and then it is easier.

u don't need to submit police clearance if u have left saudi. on your passport u have the stamp of exit and that is sufficient . u can write a covering letter to the concerned person in charge of your file that u can not provide it as the country does not entertain any one for police clearance once they have left saudi. one of my friends left saudi and moved to uae/ he told the high commisssion through covering letter and was issued visa and now a PR . But as home work go to embassy of saudi in delhi and ask the agents outside ( bcz u will not be allowed to enter the embassy ) also on embassy of saudi in canada u can see the embassy has an icon where they entertain people who want police clearance if they have lived in saudi. my suggestion : don't waste time over it ...just write to high commision or your concerned office bye best of luck

Hi Mak73,
can you please tell more about your friend who lived in Saudi Arabia and now a PR. When he got his PR, a long ago or recently?

just 2 years back ... don't worry just explain to the VO THAT U HAVE LEFT SAUDI AND THEY HAVE NO PROCEDURE TO ISSUE POLICE CLEARANCE to people not physically present . when any person gets a letter from high commision london stationed in saudi for proof of residency ( and then to proceed for police finger printing ) , its mention that its no longer valid for person not physically present in saudi .. trust my words see u in canada soon bye

You can reach Saudi Embassy in Delhi to get PCC, you need request letter from Canada embassy for getting PCC from Saudi arabia, if u have some in Saudi arabia take figure print from concern department, Notry it, translate to Arabic, send with old Iqama copy and request letter so u able to get it. If u are in Saudi. it is very easy process, what my recommendation is better come for 10 days visit and get it otherwise it takes time more than 30 days. Saudi PCC is nothing else one thick paper full arabic with some stamp and photos.
