Hey Hi....I am planning to apply for the Skilled worker Immigration - Quick question on Birth certificate & PCC

01). I am in US and I am planning to get the Birth certificate and PCC (Police clearance) from the Indian embassy. Will these certificates hold good or should i get these certificates only from India. Please advice

hi there,

you need to get PCC from India & U.S both(or from everywhere you have lived for more then six months after attaining the age of 18yrs)...alongwith the birth certificate from the respective municipality in India, what Indian embassies give you are actually, certificate of DATE OF BIRTH in accordance with what is mentioned on your passport...VO wants to see the source of that date too! so the requirement is birth cerificate..... hope, this helps....
