Hello, I have managed to procure all documents for our application. At somepoint, I was so frustrated that I wanted to withdraw my husband (dependent) and my 6 month baby as sorting out documents for them in the stipulated 120days is a pain. Dealing with so many government agencies.

As advised here, I did not give up and have finally managed to get all documents !

Now, I have a query on PCC .  Ever since I turned 18, I have lived in 3 different cities in India.

1. Chennai - 2005 till date
2. Bangalore 2000 til 2005
3. Hyderabad  pre2000

now I have PCC from chennai for 'Period dated 2005 till date !'  ?!  Should I also get PCC from other two cities or is the current one sufficient.

Please advise

Thanks

1. Just that one PCC from your home country will suffice.
2. Note that PCCs r not "city specific", but r "country specific".

Thanks for quick reply qorax.  But the policeman who came to my house for verfication told me that the PCC will have the dates / city mentioned and he is advised us to contact the other cities police depts for the previous years as the records are not centralised like the USA/UK (hence, one country , one PCC). So, I was confused.

On 28th, I will be getting the PCC in my hand and will check the contents of it
