Hi Guys,

I have paid through CIC online payment website using credit card and got the receipt number starting with RXXXXXXXXX

While checking in eCas system, it does not reflects my application status and also I have noticed that receipt number must start with "B"!

Any clue?

hi....are you an FSW applicant? please clarify if the payment that you are talking about is the $550 CAD......

you should be receiving the file number starting with "B" afterwards once they debited your credit card.....

nowadays....this is the good thing if you see that they already debited the application processing fee then your application is FINE....

so congratulations in advance to you......

Hi CPA2CANADA,

Thank you for the reply!

Yes, I have applied under FSW 0213 category, I paid through my credit card for self and wife. I actually landed up paying more I paid CAD$ 550 x 2 + Right of Permanent Residence Fee (CAD$ 490) x 2 !!!

The debit is already reflecting in my credit card account! Haven't received the file number starting BXXXXXXX yet!

Fingers crossed....

You can't login Ecas with that receipt #.

See this link for all possible ways:

yes, I noticed that this receipt is no good for tracking on ecas, I guess I have to wait for the file number to come through from CIC NS.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

It was online the day I have paid...! I have an official receipt from them sent over my email ID.

My current credit card statement reflects the debits...

Although now I confused if I have made a mistake by paying online !!! I remember searching through few links but can't get hold of them anymore.

Seniors, please advise if I have made mistake by paying online?

Thanks....

They allowed FSW applicants to pay by credit card from September 8,2009 but not ONLINE. they provided a from to fill out credit card information and attach to your application. they will make the transaction themselves after confirming that you application is eligible.
In your case its now a question of whether :

1. CIO will accept it online payment receipt (very little chance, never heard of it)
2. You can request a refund of your online payment ( I think you shud work on this aspect)

sorry to spoil your day friend. but you need to have the correct information.

My day and weekend is indeed spoiled although an eye opener now...

I was counting days before I could have had AOR!!!!

I guess I have to wait for my application to come back and then perhaps request for a refund and apply again....

Long Saga..... Damn!!!!!!!!!!
