i am just going to pay my fees on line and i am really confused with what section i have to pay? my wife  and children who are Canadian is sponsoring me UK resident for permanarnt residence  in Canada and can you please confirm the total amount

AND YOU CAN PAY THE RPRF ( Right of Permanent Resident Fee ) later after you get approved  which cost $490.00 so total of
        $1040.oo

But if you are applying outland, they strongly suggest to pay the whole $1040.00 one time. By doing so, it will reduce the processing time of your application.

when i was paying they asked me for an email address i set it up so is this where they will send correspondance and also after i have sent it off where do i check its progress

email address you provided is just for the receipt of payment, case processing officer and visa officer will communicate throught the email or postal address you provided them with your application.

at initial stage of your application only sponsor detail will work when u log in with your receipt number/client ID but after the sponsorship approval you will be able to log in with your own details once you have received a file number!
