Hi guys, just want to ask your opinion or your own experiences abt paying the fees. Paying the fees is our next step to complete my application pacakage and we wanna make sure we dont encounter problems.

My wife (sponsor)  and I have read abt the options abt this in CIC and in this forum, and I know it says in CIC that they prefer online payment. But from what we have been reading here , several problems have been encountered like payment not accepted but has been charged, double, even triple payments, (but refunded nevertheless) and some end up paying at a bank at the end. we prefer paying through credit card but we will be using my wife's card, and it is an international card but issued here in the Phils. so we may encounter problems for that. My wife doesnt have a Canadian credit card yet since she is still here in the Phils. With me and will be going back in January 2012 and look for her first ever Canadian job.

we fear that even if online payment is preferred, it may bring more "hassle" so we are actually leaning towards paying at a bank ( we will order IMM 5401 now so when she returns to CND it will be there waiting for her at her cousin's house where she will stay)

What do you think guys? Any thoughts or true to life experiences? Smiley appreciate it much!

Thanks Amy612, how long did it take for it to arrive? And I assume it is free of charge right?

We paid by online...we didn't want to have to wait to order the bank paper. There were no problems, but if you think it's safer to pay through the bank then by all means do it  Smiley
