Paying Tax in Canada

Hello everyone,

Kindly educate me on how to go about paying tax in Canada without Canadian income. If I work in Africa (rotational) but reside in Canada as a landed immigrant, how do I go about filing the tax returns in Canada since my salary is not being paid to my Canadian bank account. (My family resides in Canada too).

Please repost this message in the "Canadian Finance and Taxation" board and alert Jonboy (an expert).  Hopefully, Jonboy will answer your queries in details.

Alternatively, I would hire an accountant to do it for me. She will check the relevant tax treaty for me.
