Can you pay the fees for the application and everything online if you are an outland applicant?  Or is it just for in-land applications?  And if I can, since I'm a US Citizen, and I have to apply through buffalo, do I need to have the money sent to Buffalo or Mississuaga (I know I spelled that incorrectly).  Thanks

Hi - I'm in the same situation as you are.  I am applying via Buffalo with my Canadian wife as a sponsor.  We paid all fees to Mississauga on-line and got our receipt on-line.  Completed the receipt and per instructions included receipt in the application we sent to CIC Mississauga.  I have not paid my RFPF yet and will have to send a separate check directly to Buffalo at some point (I missed the information that that fee is refundable if application is denied - if I had known I would have paid it all up front).

I just sent a Bank Draft to Singapore for RFPF and they sent it back and said to pay the fees to Mississauga or online.  So, I'm assuming that you can pay all fess online whether in country or not.

The sponsor fees have to be paid to CIC-M (Mississauga).  If you apply via outside route, the application first goes to Mississauga to approve the sponsor.  Only after that does the application get forwarded to whichever visa office will handle the case (in your case, Buffalo; in my case, London).  The fee can be paid online, via money order, or through any Canadian bank branch.
