passports in london

I sent the passport of my family and mine to london 0n 21st of march ,today I complete 6 weeks , can any boday help me what to do?
even my status doesnt show up anymore after I sent the passport by 3 weeks ..
i check with my lawer he said, he will send them A remainder today ,
I dont know what to do , it is not good to stay without the passports

Hi, I don't think there is any serious problem delaying the return of your passports. Up to 8 weeks comes in a usual time frame. As you have applied through a lawyer he is the one to communicate with the visa office. I hope this month itself you may be able to receive your passports. Relax!!.

Passports are documents we need them all the times. People go on work and business trips, why are they keeping the visas for so long? This Canadian immigration system is a big failure in my mind.

Hi Canadaforall,
The VOs don't care what is our problem. Looks like the applicants need not be moved from their place once the application is submitted!!. There are lot of drawbacks in the immigration procedures which should be reviewed,modified and updated.
