Depends upon candidate and VO. In my case, i got PPR within 15 days of meds and than visa in next 15 days. Some are waiting for month or two after Meds.
Next step would be PPR in which u will be asked to submit original passports along with latest pics (as per CHC specification) and a blank form to be filled out for latest update on status of each person included in application. I am resident of UAE from where DHL and FEDEX are being frequently used to send passports safely to CHC and delivered in max 24 hours.

gud luk

1- London CHC will send you few forms + request for new photographs + request for passport copies (1st step)

2- Islamabad CHC will send you formal passport request..

thats the current process for pakistani resident applicants who are processed in London....

Time frame for passport request is unpredictable for Pakistanis but you can expect it with in 6-8 months from the date of Medicals. In step 1, you will receive email from CHC London to submit Photocopies of Passports, Photos and a one page family update chart. In step 2, CHC london will email you to submit yor passports to Islamabad for visa stamping. You can go to the following thread which is for Pakistanis waiting for PPR.http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pakistani-applicants-waiting-for-ppr-stage-1-or-2-letters-from-chc-london-t66770.0.html

for me it's been more than two months and they still don't show "medical received"

i don't think that means anything ... ecas varies from VO to VO and doesn't always reflect latest app status
