If we travel to the embassy in person, to get our visas, do we have to take our child with us (13 years) or we (as parents) can give his passport for visa without his presence?

Hi ana_ana,

Congratulations....you are almost there. Please confirm first if your VO accepts PP in person. If yes, then you can submit your minor child's PP without him being present.

Yes, they do accept personally, or by mail, but if you go in person from 8:30-12:00 y will get your passport back the same day at 3 o'clock.  -Tuesday and Thursdays-that's what is written in the mail....but it doesnt say anything about children. I certainly will write them a mail....but who knows if they will answer me.

Good to know that your VO accepts PP in person too. Some VO like NDVO does not entertain such opportunity. I know for sure (from this forum) that if your VO accepts  PP in person then children need not accompany you to submit PP. They just need your PP's ....the mode of transportation is immaterial.
