Hey there, if anyone has experience or knows how to handle this situation:

I am a foreigner working in another country (Shanghai, China) but my visa office processing will be in Singapore. So what happens if after the interview process, assuming i am through with it and then the local office in SG requires my passport to stamp it while i am in China or when i am in Singapore and requires to return to china to work during that period.

Anyone knows of such a situation and help?

Thanks

abelkwh,

Why dont you try to contact Canadian high Commission in China explain the situation and see what they come up with.

Becuase as far as I know, one cannot courier the passport

Good Luck

1.  You will have to courier your passport to Singapore for your visa.
2.  You will be out of luck, if you have to travel while Singapore has your passport.  You can ask for it back, but it will delay your application.
