Thanks everyone - Happy to inform you that we received the request for passports today from Paris!! So, on-line payment of the RFPR on 8/13 confirmation of payment w/Paris on 8/15 - Request for passports on 9/23. +/- 6 weeks. Very Happy.... 5 years later, I will finally be able to welcome my parents in Canada.

Hi guys Yesterday my husband made the right of permanent residence payment, he sent a copy of the receipt to Mississauga already , my question is from this office they will confirm to my Vo or how is the process??, because i sent a copy from the receipt to my Vo also, I dont understand could you explain me how long i have to wait, because i am waiting for my PPR but now we paid and everything is done i am worried!!!

From the time the on-line payment was made (Mississauga) and a copy to Paris it took 5 weeks to receive the request for the passports. If noting else required this should hopefully the end of the journey. Best of luck. M

CONGRATULATION!! mljdebruycker but only one question, how do you know when Mississauga received your payment they notified you??
because i made my payment last Thursday and i sent it to Mississauga and my vo already but how can i know that Mississauga already submitted my payment?? i am nervous i was late to do this.

The payment was made on-line on 8/13 and we called to confirm on 8/16. They were able to confirm that the payment was receivd and it took 5 weeks from that date to receive the notification to send the passports. M

hi mljdebruycker, did you call Mississauga office to confirm the payment??? how can i do it ?? what is their phone number or how can i confirm my payment with them??? Belive me i am very worried

thanks CharlieD10, i was thinking Mississauga has a phone number Lol, i understand that Mississauga office take time to send the confirmation to my Vo, but i want to make sure that they exactly received my payment , thanks for your reply i will tell my husband to do it!!!
