Hi,

I'm just wondering my passport request has come in now and my status on ECAS is still saying in process.....I'm just wondering if a passport request does not mean decision made. I don't want to be without my passport for another three months...it's something I always need.

Thanks

What I noticed in my case after they stamped visa and sent an email to pick up the passport that's when changes take place in ECAS from in process to decision made.
Congratulations in advance!!!!

Hey there, first congrats, second e-cas will change into decision made when they stamp your visa on the passport, in what office your application is, and when did you send your passport, usualy it takes between 2 to 3 week to get the passport back.
Gook luck

How are you Rorita??? long time no see. Email me to my hotmail account whenever you can :0).
I'm doing great. Can't wait to go to Lebanon. I know the weather has cooled down this morning as well in Ottawa.
My sister in law is applying for driving test on road but she told me they went on strike  last week lol!!!
Do u need anything from Lebanon :0). BTW I'm coming back with my husband. He is so happy and people start going over his house to wish him a good beginning life in Canada. I told him it's almost another 3months before he land in Canada lol!!!.
BTW Damascus embassy sent us all the proof that we had submitted during our application mostly pictures, letters, greeting cards. He was so surprised receiving them by DHL. They are awesome.
How's life treating you in Windsor these days. Are u taking English courses to advance yourself???
Did you miss Lebanon at all??

that is the way the lebanese are, they will start saying goodbye for him from now till after 3 month, and expect the day you are traveling, ALL, and I mean ALL the family, friends, the people that he meet once in his lifetime...they will come the last day to say goodbye...I have been there...
that is good they return all the original, and yes they are good in Damascus..
Thank you, I don't need anything from lebanon...except the good weather...we turned on the heat in the car saturday night on our way back at 11 pm...my God it is August...Smiley)
yes, the english course are to improve my english, cause my pronouncing is little bad...more  french accent..and they are free, the LINC program, and it is the next building, in the YMCA...so why not.
Will comminucate on the hotmail later for sure, have a nice , warm day..Take care

I guess depends on the country but in my opinion it would be more logical if they follow the same procedure. Passport request, passport received, visa affix and ecas status change to decision made to reflect the changes.... Why do they like to confuse us so much.
Good luck everyone and hope you all receive a happy news and god bless you all!!!
