Passport Request Extension

Hello everyone

I have a VERY important question to ask. What happens if you receive a passport request from the embassy to send them your passport and you can not actually do it within that 60 days they have given you? Do they give you extensions? If not, would they refuse your application if you can not send them your passport within that time frame?

Its Berlin visa office, they have a deadline of 60 days.

I guess u shd call the visa office and state why u cant send the passport in the requested time frame and c wat they say

Does anyone know if they dont give an extension, can they refuse the visa?

if any request is not completed in the specified timeline they write you back not necessarily to give u an extension but to tell u based on u not completing a request... according to others

Deadline is 60 days so yes you have to send it.
try emailing them.
