Passport renewal question

Passport renewal.
I filled out my application and used the data what was in my old passport. My passport is expiring, and want to renew it. Is this going to be a problems with the spouse/sponsor application, on the moment I have to send out my (new) passport when approved?

When you get the new passport, update the embassy by faxing a copy of the biodata page from the new passport.
