 Smiley :)Hello Everyone,

 Finaly after a wait of 5 months and 10 days, we recieved the passport back with visa yesterday, April 30, 2010, in the afternoon via registered mail. It was a patience testing procedure but finally it is done and complete. Now the next step is to get the International Driving Licence and ofcoure the ticket to get there.

 The following is my timeline for the visa application and process...

November 20, 2009 - Application filled to CIC Miss.
December 15, 2009 - Sponsorship Approved
January 5, 2010     -  File Transfered to CHC New Delhi
January 9, 2010     -  Passport Request Recieved from CHC New Delhi with the letter dated January 6, 2010
January 11, 2010   -  Passport Sent to CHC New Delhi via India Post
January 12, 2010   -  Passport Recieved by CHC New Delhi
April 30, 2010       -   Passport recieved with a very shinny visa on it.

We hope the above timeline helps in understand how some process workout.

We want to wish everyone here best of luck with this procedure and we also want to thank everyone who has assisted us and waited with us during this process. We will come back occasionally and stay active here.

Do you know why it's take to long to get passport back ?
did they ask you any other document or photgraph
or do you have an interview?
