passport question

hi,

i had another question. my wife if the principle applicant i am sponsoring but we want to get her daughter (10 years old) a visa at the same time. do we need to wait for my wifes daughter to get her passport before we submit the applications forms or can we provide that information later down the road?

her daughter lives in a small village far from bangkok where she has to go in person for her passport, so it would be convenient to wait for school holidays for her to do so rather than yank her out of school for a few days.
