Passport number and Police Certificate

Hi,
     Thanks to everybody who gave me advice , I got one more question about the passport number on the police certificate , does it have to be the same, because I got a UK Police Certificate with my old passport number , my old passport expires in 5 months, but I got my new passport yesterday , should I apply for another Police Certificate using my new Passport number . Thanks

Dear Khan,

Attach a photocopies (only the biological information pages ) of your old and new passports along with the UK PCC and submit it. No need to get a new PCC for this purpose. If you want you can make a note on a piece of paper with it.
