I have send it from AUH? Still no news? I am thinking always about it and desperately waiting?

Please reply with your feedback...why the delay is happening?

Hey

I have been waiting for my passports since the 22nd of June as well, i was asked for passport pictures so they could issue visas (my passport had been sent along with medical results). I have a tracking number from the company i used to sent the pictures and it shows that one of the staff there signed and took the package on the 22nd of June. My ecas shows decision made and i was already contacted by mail by the visa officer saying to send the pictures within 45 days so he could issue visas.

We are almost 3 weeks tomorrow from the time they received the pictures and i have not heard of anything.

On the updated information chart, they did state that it might take 6 weeks which would be around 42 days if we count non working days as well.

So here i am waiting to get something soon

Just figured i add my case if that brings you some peace of mind.

CHC London office btw

Thanks

Hey,

Shanks, i think....thereis no fixed no of days for passport return...it totally depends.
For some it is less than 3 weeks...for some 8 weeks...so lets wait & see.

hi there.. me too it has been more than 90 days and still waiting for our passports. i emailed CEM to inquire about our status and replied with..

Dear Applicant,
We have received your passports and your file is in queue for finalization. We regret that we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the finalization of the application, and we appreciate your understanding while you wait to hear more from our office.

do u have any idea what does this mean?? are there any possibilities for refusal?? THANKS!
Hi Sheryl_anne, I don't expect refusal in this stage, Midoo has posted the visa in hand. Good luck too.

I don't know how in Canada but in US so called conservatives are notorious for saying complete opposite of what they are doing. Usually, if you watch US news and want to understand what a conservative politician really means to say just exchange whatever they say with antonyms and you will get a good idea of what they mean.

Now, Harper recently said that his objective is to suspend FSW in order to clear a backlog.
The way I understand it, his true objective was to completely halt FSW processing (regardless of stage of processing) therefore delays shouldn't surprise anyone - he must have given a directive to halt visa issuance until further instructions from Ottawa.
After all he is a Conservative ( = NOT a friend of immigrants).

Good luck to all.

Sent second reminder to CHC London on Friday but no-reply.
Consultant has taken 90% moeny so least bothered.

Jut praying from God that I get it this week...no update on ECAS.

Too be honest, i am too tired of waiting, but nothing much i can do? can we call the CHC London?

Ahh...
