Hello. I need your advice on the following matter. If someone wants to apply according to a Skilled Worker Simplified application program & the expiry date of his passport is approaching (happens within 6 month time), will it be a reason for the immigration officer to deny in assigning a file number to that person's application?

It's stated that, in your application date, your passport should atleast 6-month valid.
But I think it would be best if you could provide them a new passport.

In my country I can change my passport only on the month of its expiry, that's why I'm getting worried about it. The application that I do now is just for getting a file number for myself. By the time I'll be asked for submitting all the required papers I'll have already had a new passport. What I am scared of now is that my application for the file number can be refused because of the approaching expiry date of my passport.
