passport expired wiht visa and work permit and new passport

i live in US, im from venezuela, i have canada visa and work permit, but my passport expired ,i will get a new passport so can i travel to canada with  2 passport or i need to tranfer mi wp to my new passport, please advise i will cross the border next week thk

-Is your work permit permanently stamped with your passport? Or it is a separate paper document and stapled with the expired passport? If the work permit is a sperate paper document just staple it on the new passport. I am not sure about the system of Vnezuela, don't they allow you to keep the both passport together? In that case I guess you do not have to worry. Immigration officer will understan your case.

i has been approved for a work permit and Multiple trv visa . i have my passport and Wp letter from canada embassy office. my question is,  my passport  expired July 31 2009, i been reading the letter and said at time i land , the officer will give me a work permit for the time my passport  validity. if i have new passport can i tranfer my work permit and visa to the new one, or i can land with both passport and grant my 2 years work permit. thank you
