Hi
I have got my AOR in July 2007. My application will not be processed before 42-48 months.
However, in the meanwhile, I had to get issued a new passport from the authority. This is because my old passport book was no more presentable as it's transparent adhesive lamination on the photo identification page, got glued with the oppsite page of the passport book. Bad quality adhesive lamination.........

I processed my application for PR in Canada  through the attorney David Cohen. My address, profession, marital status and family composition have  not changed in the new passport.

Do I have any action to pursue at this point of time ?

Thank you for your opinion / advice

Best regards
Bablu

Go ahead and do the change but have a photocopy of your data page.

Hi
Eudorado ,

I processed through lawyer . Do I need to inform CIC that passport number has been changed.

The lawfirm advised me to inform them (the Law firm)only if family composition and my contact details are changedin the meanwhile.

Thank you for response.

If your passport number changed, you do need to inform the lawyer and CIC.

Bablu

your lawyer have to do this for you, he/she is processing all the information with CIC in your behalf.

call them and have them to notify this issue to CIC for you ASAP.
