when I got my ppr, on the email it said that the passport will be in the embassy for about 6 weeks.

Is that about right, or should i expect it back before that?

Thanks

Did you post from UK or Canada? The time to get them back to Canada is around that time, a couple earlier this year took just under eight weeks, one recently came back and it took eighteen days...they say approx six weeks but I'm sure others will agree it's a guide.

It is a guide, I also know of a passport that returned to Canada 18 days after arrival in London UK.
Sometimes things happen fast, but that fact does not guarantee a repeat performance Smiley
