Hi Everyone.

I have just applied under FSW2 and I am currently working with work permit in Canada.  My wife's passport will due on July 2011 (1 year and 9 months more practically). The thing is I just applied for PR and I may be wondering if I'll make get it before getting the passport of her passport expires. Even we had more room for getting a longer period for staying, the inmigration officer printed out the work permit with Jan 31, 2011 (1 year 3 months).

I was thinking about asking for an extension of the permit a couple of months before it gets due but the longer extension I can get would be my wife's expire date (July 2011). My Passport dues on December 2012.

The questions are:

1. Should it be a good idea to continue with the PR process even though the circumstance (1 year and 2 months work  permit only)?
2. Is it possible to renew the passports without loosing my current TRVs (temporary resident visas)?
3. Can I renew my TRV inside Canada?
4. If not, Would it work if I renew the work permit a longer time just for me for trying to get the PR status considering that my wife will leave the country before her passport expires?.

Thanks for your support guys.
