Me again!
I am going through my application and am looking at the sponsor questionnaire.

I can definitely list which friends and family my husband has met. Many of which I do remember the exact day, but others I do not. If I don't know the exact day they met him what do I do? Exclude them? Guess? Make up a date in the block of time I knew they DID meet?

Also they ask about previous marriages/common law/conjugal relationship. I was with a man from 2002 to 2008. I do not know where he lives because our relationship ended badly. Do I include him? Do I just put his address as unknown?

Thanks! And sorry for all the questions...

First of all, I don't remember when exactly half my friends met my husband, I was too excited to be grabbing a notebook and writing down "So and so met my husband on such and such a date" They just want to make sure your husband has met your friends and that he has intentions of making friends with them. It's more of a social aspect than anything else. I made up a date in the block of time I knew they met, but someone else might have a better answer than me!

As for the second question, did you file as a common law or conjugal couple? (Taxes etc) If not, don't bother.

For the meeting times, I would just put the month and year and then attach a short note explaining you do not remember the exact day. There are lots of people who do this, so don't worry.

My previous relationship was just conjugal. We started dating when I was 16 and ended when I was 22.

^ I wouldn't worry about it then. Unless there were any legal implications of you splitting up (financial affairs, custody of children etc.) But if you just dated all that time, I don't think it really qualifies as a conjugal relationship anyway. (Conjugal means "marriage-like")

Hi, this was my experience with this question.
I was in a relationship a few years before I met my husband.  We lived to together for more than a year and kept all our affairs separate (taxes and so on) .  For me it was not considered common law/conjugal, it was more boyfriend/girlfriend as I was still very young.
We had a lawyer help us with our application and they said that immigration will see that as common law/conjugal.  I had to go to a Public Notary so they could sign a affidavit stating that the relationship ended on so and so date and that I have had no contact with him since then.
I also did not know his address and on my application the lawyers wrote UNKOWN
