Hi

I am Shyam, have a question regading my work experience.
Does immigration consider part time work experience along with full time work experience ?

If yes, I have one year full time work experience as Financial Analyst and 19 months part time (weekly 20 hrs approx) as Customer Service Officer and 3 years part time (weekly 18 hrs approx) as Business Development Associate.

Could you please help me in getting the number of years that I could use for application to gain points ?

Thanks
Shyam

You divide the no. of hours worked in a year by 1950 (hours CIC considers a working year)  So if you worked 19 months at 20 hours per month it would equate to .75 of a year.

Thank you !

I got letter from my previous employment, which does say anything about the number of hours worked. I shows that I was employed in part time / casual position. Is this enough for the immigration or do I need to get a letter from my employer with the number of hours worked ?

Thanks

You need proof of the numbers of hours.
