I graduated in June, 2010, and started working right away, initially under off-campus work permit (expired at the end of July, 2010).
I applied for my post-graduation work permit during that period, and it was issued in September. (So I relied on implied status for a month and a half.)

Now that I have one year of experience, I wanted to apply for PR under CEC. But this clause in the application guide caught my attention:

Quote
Note: The experience must be acquired after you have completed the required study and obtained a Canadian credential (work performed under the Off-Campus Work Permit Program or co-op work terms do not count).

Does this mean that I would have to wait until September to apply? (with a full year of work experience under post-graduation work permit alone?)

Hi Barum87,

I am undergoing the same situation right now. Did you figure out whether you were eligible to apply as soon as the 1 year of experience was attained or did you have to wait till Sept 2010.

Thanks.
