Hi,
I have to apply for my parents sponsorship. There is a column in the application form for Sponsors(me) which says Name at the time of becoming permanent resident.  My name has been corrected in my records, as the first name and last name were reversed originally. So what should I write in this column should I write the name as it was then or should I write the name that has been corrected now.
Thanks

You use the name that is on your passport for being sponsored, but since your not i'm not sure, but becuase of that I would assume you would go with what ever your identification (PR card, lisense, passport) shows your name as.

At the time of landing my Immigration documents showed my name as Smith John  now it has been corrected as John Smith. So what should I write in this column, I think it should be what it was when I landed as it clearly says so.
 Please advise

You say your name has been corrected, but has been corrected on what? your landing papers? your identification?

It has been corrected on both the landing papers and PR card.

When your filling out the application, you will be sending in copies of your identification (passport, ID, birth certificate, PR Card). All these names should be the same on the documents. If all say corrected name "John Smith" then that is what you should use.
