Parents Sponsor..Lico Question

I am a canadian citizen so as my wife..
I am working and having income of around 30000$ but my wife is not working..i have 2 kids as well..
i wan to sponsor My Parents and My 11 years of old Brother..
According to LICO i have to meet 54987$ in order to sponsor..
Question is do i need to maintain it untill they get visa..or its just for the approval of sponsorship..I mean they will just look at the Last 12 Month income..

You will have to prove it when you submit the application and probably again when Mississauga is ready to approve it, in about 24 months.
