It's been 50 days since i sent additional docs on Jan 20th. Why does it take so long?
and one more thing: when you submitted your additional documents and PCC, medical documents, Did CIC ask you to submit your current new income documents ( i think because it's been more than 3 years, so probably you changed jobs, changed income...)?
They didn't asked for new current Income document. |

I think due to high volume of application they took longer time. I read from this forum People who had applied on January 13 they did received approval letter from cic. I hope you will receive good news soon. |

Just send the documents they asked for nothing more nothing less..... If they needed more documents they will communicate with you. I applied for my mother's sponsorship in Dec 2007 and they did not ask me to send my new income status. |

Just send the documents they asked for nothing more nothing less..... If they needed more documents they will communicate with you. I applied for my mother's sponsorship in Dec 2007 and they did not ask me to send my new income status.
Actually I did call and ask about the same thing about income and work and marital status change.they told me to either fax or mail it to cpc-m What I had done was sent a letter from work, my marriage certificate (since I wasn't married when I sponsored ) and last yrs T4 On the cic website it says somewhere if any info changes then we should fax or mail it |

Guys, how many days after you sent additional documents your status appears the second line?
It's been 50 days for me, and it still doesn't show the second line. I'm just so worried.
My case time line is as follow: Documents Received by CIC-M : January 13 2012 AOR from CIC-M received on: Feb 27 2012 Sponsorship Approval : March 6 2012 I hope this will help you... |

Did you checked Online status regarding CIC has updated regarding medical received.
i checked my on-line status but nothing has changed... honestly i don't expect it to change that soon... i think the status changes to 'Medicals received' not when you medical papers reach the medical office but when medical office competes reviewing them... i think it usually happens about a month after the papers are delivered to the medical office... |

Hi smodhera: when did you send in your Mom's application for the first time...? was it 2007? My case time line is as follow:
Documents Received by CIC-M : January 13 2012
AOR from CIC-M received on: Feb 27 2012
Sponsorship Approval : March 6 2012

Hi friends, some updates on my file. I just checked the e-case and the status says 'Decision Made'! A letter was mailed on Mar8th, it seems. Nothing in my inbox yet. Keeping my fingers crossed till then. Just an FYI, I had sent the additional doc requested on Jan 16th. So, as of now, it takes a little under 2 months to get an update. I think, they process files based on the date the docs were submitted AND the date the original application was made, hence we are seeing some people getting responses earlier than others. The number of people/dependents is not relevant. My guess, that is.
