Hey Guys,
My question is to those guys who already have received or submitted medical requests, how did you guys receive the medical request, email (parents or yours) or mail at your parents address or at your address (Canada). Thanks for your answer!

i received an e-mail from Ottawa with medical forms attached to the e-mail address that we wrote in IMM0008 as a contact e-mail |

i really want u guys to tell me which forms need to be signed by parents as i am getting ready to send them the forms as they sign and send me back because it takes time to get there and recieve them back so which forms i should send to get their signs like should i send them representative form too as i am here and i am handling their paperworks do i need their sign if so which form is that for the representative as which forms u guys sent back home to get signs of parents please write me all the forms that u guys got staring november like imm008 and others

Hi ICJ, we share the same timeline. My sponsorship is also approved on Feb 15. Did you application forwarded to CPP-Ottawa or local visa office abroad?

my understanding is that her status did not change... but she received a letter stating that her documents were received... it is different from my process - i did not receive any confirmation that my documents were received... i think that CIC realized that people are nervous because of the 90 days deadline - they don't know if their documents have been received or not... so CIC started sending acknowledgement letters...
That is not something new. The GCMS has the automatic function to send out confirmation email to clients once a new file has been created in the system, but some officers choose to bypass that. That is why you didn't get any AOR. I did get the confirmation from CIC on Jan 13 for my submission and my ME result has already reached in Ottawa last week. |

Mash, almost all the forms need signatures one way or another. read carefully ...at one place applicants have to write their names in native language. IMM008 Needs main applicant signatures 5406- Needs to be filled out by all the persons on the applicants and has to be signed 5669 needs signatures as well...Hope this helps! Again please read all the forms carefully and look for the signature boxes. |

Parentsponsor, on the letter it showed that file was transferred to Ottawa but someone in the previous posts mentioned that it could be transferred to the local office too. Hopefully that does not happen so keeping my fingers crossed.
Raatri,
I did not have any dependents initially but in 2009 my son was born. I just sent an email to Ottawa notifying this change in my family. Also my income has increased so I still qualify to sponsor. And on the application I have two people; my dad and my mom.

Just wondering, Today when I open my E-case to check the status, I see a two line of same thing on my e-case, but both line says they received my application when I originally send first time to CIC-M.. I don't know of those one who already received sponsorship approval letter from them have same thing???

People submitted additional documents on December, Mostly those got confirmation email from CiC-m.Then CIC sent sponsorship approval letter.Did you get the acknowledgement letter instead of email?? When did you get request for medicals?Can You confirm what address your parents medicals sent ?(to ottawa regional health care or local regional office) |

Hopefully Raj! Did you receive approval by email or by mail. So far all my letters came in mail. Nothing through email. My ecas was changed the same day I received my approval letter.
