Apply for Parents in end of 2007.
Received response in end of Nov 2011
Submitted papers back around Dec 12, 2011.
In Jan, 2012 received confirmation for permanent residence received.
Got 2nd email end of the Jan, 2012 that sponsorship application needs additional documents. They asked for 2007 "C Printout for 2007", T4/T5, other income, T1 General. They gave 60 days to response.
no - i did not get the request... but i sent my Option C printout for 2008-09-10 with the additional documents requested in November... you can order Option C printout by phoone - should not be a problem... |

Pari4u, when did you send yours? I sent mine Jan 31 and CPC-M recevied it on Feb 2.
i sent my doc on FEB 10 and CIC recived iton FEB 13 |

I sent it along with my initial application in 2008. I didn't send it again with additional documents but got approved. I guess in your case you didn't send it with your sponsorship application in 2007. |

In my case, i sent copy of Option "C" to CIC every year from 2007, 2008,2009 and 2010 without fail. |

i wanted to ask how many of u guys received the request for option c print out along the request they sent in in november
as with imm008 did they ask u guys the request for option c print of all years ? if so then do u guys feel i should ask canada revenua for all years of option c print out since i started sponsership or i have to wait until i get request for it what do u guys say as how long it takes to receive option c print out

hello
i want to ask as some of u guys suggest like 2009 applicants should start collecting documents as in my case i started sponsership in april 2009 so do u guys say i should start collecting documents now like marriage certificate , birth certificate, get passports, translating national identity card and other documents as my question is my parents dont live in my homeland they live in a different country so they need to go through their embassy or consulate of their homeland in that country so they gonna attest and write the date so if they write the date now for the transaltion of documents and if i get request from cic in like after 3 or 4 months from now ? so do u seee it is not a problem for the date or it does not make any differencence ? as cic will not seee that why these documents were translated before they sent the request for that
i really appreciate if u guys share ur ideas

Only once I submitted option C form with my initial application in 2008 & my sponsorship approved.Along with IMM0008 they don't ask the option c. |

yes..read link in my signature too.. start collecting documents..no need to collect translations yet...translation and notarization can be done in 1 day |

As I read you guys more, I am getting worried about my Option C. I sent it back in 2008, with my application. My employment income was just a little bit higher than LICO for my family size at that time (by maybe $800 or so). I also had a line "Employment Insurance" in my Option C. This EI got counted in line 150 bringing my income by a couple of thousands higher. I am now concerned-will it be okay that EI is shown on my Option C? I never explained it to CIC but this EI is actually due to the fact that I had a newborn baby at that time and stayed home with him, thus collecting EI for my maternity, not because of actual unemployment.
I hope it will be fine regardless as they ask for line 150 from Option C. I guess if they were concerned about EI, they would have asked for income from employment exclusively.
Too many worries!
