I recieved the e-mail from CIC - India but I am not able to post copy of CIC letter from India in forum?

does anyone have idea why?

I tried to update my timeline but it shows error all the time as a message

Copy and Paste the email to NotePad first.. Then Copy from NotePad and paste it here... Should work..

It might be just a temporary issue.. trying again may fix it. Copy the email as a plain text and paste in the forum.

Well, I also have a technical question. How do you post your timeline? I don't see anything in my profile that allows me to set that, for example the way it shows on your posts sponsorparents.
I would appreciate if someone let me know.

it looks like there is a web link in the e-mail... you are not allowed to post links if you are new to the forum... copy-paste the e-maill from CIC and then find the links in it and modify them, so they don't look like web links, for example, remove http://www. portion of it...

Looks like we have to wait more 3 to 4 yrs to bring parents here in Canada. Do anyone have idea on timeline from India now?

03/25/2008 and have created a file with the file number indicated above.

Note: The application received date is in mm/dd/yyyy format. Please quote this file number inall future correspondence with our office.

Canada has a carefully managed and controlled immigration program that is committed to
maintaining a balance of 60% economic immigrants and 40% non-economic immigrants (familyclass, refugees, and those in need of protection). Amongst non-economic immigrants, priority isgiven to spouses/partners and dependent children.

Hi Rick, some how time frame seems confusing ite self i pary its not more then 3 to 4 years, do you mind if i ask if you can share your timeline when you submited your appliactions so we know. and also when did you recive this letter

There are a couple of things odd in the email (not that I am questioning it).

It says "We have received your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Family class on
03/25/2008". This means, the second stage of the sponsorship process started in 2008 so shouldn't the timeline begin from there?

How do you post your timeline?

Click on the "Profile" link on the top-right of the forum and then click on the "Forum Profile Information" under the "Modify Profile" section (on the left of the screen). Scroll down and enter all the information you need and do not forget to click on the "change profile" button

CIC letter recd - Nov - 2011
add. docuemnts sent -1st week of Dec. - 2011
e-mail recd CPC - M - file has been approved - Jan - 2012
Online status changed - Decision Made
e-mail recd from CIC - india - file in process as per above mail.- Feb - 2012

  disaapointing if its going to tacke 44 months man its very disapponting, i hope this is not true parying to go, i hope it should tacke only 12 months not more then taht we waited enough we already waitd 3 and half year  i dont have more courage to wait another 44 months,

one question to you do you have any one depndent in your appliactions or its only your parents ?

if this is the case and if CIC are considering from 03/25/2008 than i should get visa in this year.

as per e-mail it clearly indicated that it will consider time line from the day when they recieve the file at New Delhi.
