Hi Nanapush, That's great you have done your medical and I hope you don't have much longer to wait for your COPR and then you can join your family in Canada. I just want things to reach conclusion after these last 4 and a half years and I put off going on holiday to Canada this year in case my medical request came through and I was out of the country and missed the cut off date. I will just have to be patient and hope it comes through soon. I just wish Ottawa had processed mine as they seem to be much quicker than a lot of the LVO's. Keep me posted how you get on. Congrats Mockava & northclare.  Sponsorparents, My parents PR status is still "Application Received". Hi Van80, I think our files are at the same officer. Officer may not be updating the eCAS status, but I am pretty sure he/she might be still working on it. |

BTW, when we talk at these numbers 11K etc, these are individuals being sponsored, 11k doesnt mean 11K files with father/mother, 11K ( would mean 5500 if you count just father/mother )? is that how it is?
Not sure if that is true, but my understanding same - they count people, not applications. |

They refer to applications in all their stats reports, eg http://sponsorourparents.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=49:2012q1-parents-and-grandparents-immigration-application-in-process-aboard&catid=4:processiontimes&Itemid=7So, I am thinking maybe quote numbers are applications (but who knows...) If it is people, this means the situation is worse for all of us waiting  |

I agree with Mockava. CIC count people, not the applications. 11000x2 will be huge number. |

I felt the same way when the case I mentioned with a similar timeline to ours got processed quickly by London after ours was sent to Ottowa. I think it's very difficult to calculate what happens at each visa office as ther are a number of variables involved in different cases. Have you had a medical as you refer to re -med? |

What makes you think that you will know in 2 weeks about medicals?
someone mentioned it takes average 6 weeks after medicals to show up online for CPC-O. |

Regarding the numbers: it is in persons and not in applications, according to their report.
If you loot at the title it says clearly: Federal Parents and Grandparents Immigration Applications (in persons)

About a month since re-submission of docs to CPC-M, we sent it to specific agent who wrote the letter indicating mistake.
anyone else here who submitted documents in July2012 to mississauga?
I am thinking of ordering GCMS as its impossible to talk to agent on the phone lines.
