wow, this is pretty significant news (not necessarily for parents sponsorship but just in general as it relates to changes to immigration system). Looks like they are planning to redesign everything |

That's not true. My mom completed the medical test (for Visitor Visa) three months prior to the medical request (immigration) from Ottawa. I contacted CIC and I was told my mom needed to complete medical again. Her medical test for visitor visa was satisfactory.
Thats what I hear as well, so not sure how confident she was in her reply or it goes case by case. As long as folks are with me, I can take them around for meds comfortably here, they entered today, immigration took 2 mins and stamped with no date ( i.e, 6 months ) |

I need help regarding Birth certificate Affidavit for my mom. I would like to know whether it will be provided by herself or by her relative who has witnessed her birth. And can someone please help me with the format of this affidavit.
2. Does she still need to provide a marriage certificate affidavit as well as my father passed away last year.

Hi Mgoya I just want to let you know cause I had the same confusion regarding my mom Birth Certificate, but when I phoned the CIC agent and asked about that, he mentioned that they need your (sponsor) birth certificate not your mom birth certificate as yours is the proof of her relationship to you. I am quite sure that they do not need your mom Birth Certificate, I sent my documents and got letter by mail from CIC 2 days ago that all documents are complete and my mom Birth Certificate was not included. |

Mgoya My case is similar to yours as my mom is a widow, I tried to phone CIC to know if Marriage Certificate is needed in that case or not, but I got different answers from each agent, that's why I decided to send the marriage certificate along with my father death certificate. |

CIC demanded my mom's birth certificate and marriage certificate even though she is a widow. I sent all this--my mom just got her medical done too.
So dont lax , go to a lawyer and they will make 2 different affidavits, if ur mom doesnt have these certificates

sorry my question is if i go with option c then i have enough income and if i go with that required period feb 2011 to feb 2012 then i have less income.so please wat i can do
ok as long as your 2011 income on your option C is good, no need to worry..... send all the proofs you have paystubs (ask cic agents if photocopies of paystubs will work)of whole 2011 until now (they will return them if they dont need them), t4,t5,option C. ........more important call cic agents for sure they will give you the right advice k good luck |

Hii frndz we have one member name is "39" please help this person with his/her question since i dont have a correct answer
CPC-M asked this member to provide proof of income from 22 feb 2011 til 22 feb 2012 and they also asked for Option C for 2011........
now the problem is member's income comes out lower than what he/she needed to make that year when he/she calculates the income on paystubs for all these months from feb'11 to feb'12......
but income on Option C is accurate (good).
