hello guys, i just want to vent out...a few weeks ago, i posted here that my mom got a medical request and she did immediately...however, this clinic she went to, had her come back several times for different referrals and different tests, the most recent of which is TDF (Tropical Disease Foundation) which will cost us twice as much as the general medical exam she first had...we've heard a lot of negative things about this clinic, where they would put applicants to a series of tests, which am not sure if not needed or not, and shelling out more money to pay for the referrals and tests...on top of the TDF, she was again asked to have an x-ray in 3 months time and prepare for another payment. She had an x-ray with that clinic 2x already!?!?! and now, we have to wait for 3 months again for another x-ray? i'm so frustrated that i am not sure if this will ever end...is it possible to pull out the medical referral from the clinic and transfer to the one with positive feedbacks and reputation? i'm blaming myself for not checking out other forums about this particular clinic, i should have been able to warn my mom not to go there...

That doesn't sound like regular procedure and maybe you should contact CIC to check if it's something they have asked for before you spend any more money.Maybe you should also share the name of the clinic with the rest of us so that we don't make the same mistake.

gaggi did u file urself or use a professional ?

It seems in ur case, a professional would have been helpful. But then again, professionals can make mistakes too.

A seasoned professional can sense wht CIC will ask for and can be pro-active.

BTW, I am just an individual and am not advertising for immigration professionals.

CIC is far behind on their website about DMP as well, I called one of them for Mumbai and guess what - they stopped doing meds 2 years ago. I mean doesn't CIC know, I emailed the webmaster and they said they will forward it to the appropriate dept and finally they removed it

TERI from Vienna VO got PP request too. Could you point us to the post where they say Ottawa asked for Meds and PP at the same time?

Also, even b4 this Pilot Project and additional docs request - files xfered to different LVO's had their own wait time anyways so frankly nothing changed - however, if you see a 2009 applicant from India ( file in Ottawa ) getting it before a 2008 applicant ( file in ND ); then it's totally unfair but we haven't reached that point. In addition, if you read the letter from Nov, 2011 they mentioned that they will go as per the date the docs are sent ( so regardless of being Jan, 2008 vs Dec, 2008 ), it's a new queue which is also unfair however, people are content with the movement and no one really care about that especially for those who had their files sent to Ottawa

Ideally, your folks should apply for Supervisa and have them stay here til this is done

however, if you see a 2009 applicant from India ( file in Ottawa ) getting it before a 2008 applicant ( file in ND ); then it's totally unfair but we haven't reached that point.

Just compare the time line.............We have already reached that point

I might not be able to put much updates here as I have applied for my parents in 2010.
 
As per the thread it seems the latest is Sep 2009. All the applications till Sep 2009 have received the letter asking for documents.

Just wanted to check as what is the latest month and year who have received the document request from CPC M, do we have anyone after Sep 2009?
