was wondered if anybody has got the AOR from Ankara visa office? My file has been transfered to Ankara on May 2012 but no news after that. I can't login to the system using the file number on the letter of approval and my parents information....just can login using my own client number which says application recieved and decision made....any idea what is going on?

Have you tried to call the CIC agents ? They can assist you and provide additional information. |

Try calling at 8:30am that's when they open. I always call that time and wait time is less than 5 min. |

I think Monday is likely busier day for them. I know that I experienced ecas access issues Mondays or Tuesdays in the past (timing out or some glitches) so maybe everyone is tryign to check after the weekend and /or call. In the past I called later in the week and was able to get through (I usually caled in the afternoon and the wait on the line was about 5 min). |

I have been following this forum for a while and thought I should pipe in and provide my update as I can't figure out how to update the spreadsheet.
I sent in to Sponsor my father, mother, and 2 dependent siblings (Pakistan) in March 2008. For all most 3 years not a peep from CIC. In November 2011 I got a letter to submit the Application for Permanent Resident to Ottawa from my Parents under a trail program. I submitted all applications and sent them to CPC-Ottawa in February 2012. From this point on my eCAS status was not available and after several correspondence to CIC the issue was not resolved. In May of 2012, I received a letter from CIC that they have received my application and considered it complete that it would now be processed. Shortly after this my eCAS updates were available again. It's June now and still no further updates or movement in the case. This whole process is truly trying my patience. At this rate it may take a decade or more for them to get there visas. Does anyone else have any updates as to parents sponsorship from Pakistan or as to the outcome of the trial program?

You sent application to CPC otttowa? instead of Mississauga?I got approval last month and file is in LVO Islamabad.No AOR from there yet.Add your case to Trackitt.You could find cases over there for comparison.

hEY EERY ONE .. i have a question i really hope one of you can help me ..
I applied for my parents with one dependent in apr 2009
I recvd a letter tp provide add'nl info but my parents don't have dependent any more, he is married. add'nl info rec'd on may29
So my question When i applied we were 5 members in 2009 including my brother ( as dependent)
but now we are 4 (as he is married ) would they still look up my gross for 08 for 5 people or 4 people.

Sounds like the door that was a bit opened for us is closed again...  [/color][/fo nt] The problem is the information received from the CIC call center seems so inconsistent we don`t know which CIC Rep to believe so I recommend everyone take the name and employee # of each CIC Rep when you call and keep a log of what info. they provide you with...and keep handy so if later we need to complete a survey about the call center or file a petition we need these info. From my personal experience when I ask them for their info. they are more careful of what answers they give me and if they don't know the answer to a question they put the call on hold and ask someone rather than making up info. |
