it seems like after receiving approval letter next step would be medical.. im just wondering if they're going to send it by mail or email?? are they going to send it to me (sponsor) or to my mom?? thanks in advance

I received it via email, and I put my email down on the additional document request forms., I belive if you added an email they will send it via email, and if you did not add one it will go to your parents addy or representative. |

hello ppllllll good news to share i received the AOR latter yesterday dated April 24 that applications is complete and they are reviewing it, i was happy one steps closer, yesterday i checked the online status but it didn't change anything no two line. And my online access is not working today hhehehe but I got the letter so happy for that.
Congratulations !! for me I'm still waiting for additional documents request but I'm really happy for all of you who already got the approval |

CIC agent double checked and confirmed that is the correct procedure. London will process medical and then Ottawa will retrieve results once processed.
it's a correct procedure... but INcorrect procedure - sending results to medial office in Ottawa - gives much faster results... |

Hello Friends,
spons our time line is same ...i mean the date of documents received by CPC-M is 10feb in both of our case.
My file is with dependent and widowed parent.
I checked my e cas yesterday...was one line only......but checked today morning ....it shows two lines now with permanent resident application received.
Does it means they found my file complete?? and put in to process???
And in the evening today I found letter in mail box...AOR....dated 24th April and they put in mail on 3rd may and I got on 8th may. They says they received my file on 13th feb 2012 but i tracked through canada post says 10thfeb 2012. I am sure that raatri, spons and all our frnds submitted on or close to 10th feb will get letters in this week. Can anybody please update my profile....Thanks for updating in advanve. |

I think you are right Shuga. My parents DMP sent medical to Ottawa and not London and I have already received request for additional tests. Hope you receive the letter soon |

Congrats subh! Question for everyone. Need to pick on your brain. The email i received from CIC-Ottawa today is dated April 26, 2012. However, it was actually sent on May 08, 2012. They gave us 30 days to complete the medicals. Is it from April 26 or May 08?My mom has to travel as there aren't DMPs in her city. Plus, she is away from home until mid-May. I can't even contact her.  Therefore, it is EXTREMELY challenging to get medicals done by the 26th of May. But quite doable by June 08. Also, for those who didn't put THEIR mailing address IMM008 but who are representatives of their parents. CIC will mail everything out to the address identified in the REp Form (if there is one), not in IMM 008. I was worried about it. But there was MY mailing address on IMM1017 (medical), not my mom's (even though we put her mailing address in IMM008...but we also submitted a rep form). |
