Do you know on what date (if you have tracking number/information provided by DMP) Medicals were delivered to Ottawa
Yeah we did get the tracking number and the medicals were received in Ottawa on April 16 i.e. a week after the tests. |

Shuga, they gave you timeline to complete? In my case there are a lot of EKG, stress test and others from cardiologist, no timeline. It will take a lot of time for us. Every test my father has to translate to english and certify...
Did they ask for those tests to be completed by any cardiologist or directed your father to a specific one ? Do you know why they asked for those tests - did he have prior history or high blood pressure during the exam? |

Shuga, they gave you timeline to complete? the problem is that i did not receive the request... cic did not tell my parents to do any additional test and did not proivede any timelines... i just see in the notes that the regional medical office requested additional tests... the letter is to my DMP - to do additional test... not to any doctor... |

i would suggest you to inquire with your DMP if they didrecived the letter or not so it dosent cause more delays for you.

received GCMS notes today... the reason why my status has not changed to 'Medicals received' is clear - my mom is required to have additional tests... not clear is why i did not receive the mail with this request...
I received addional request for my dad and that is why e-cas status does not show medical results received. Therefore, it can be concluded that if the e-cas status is changed to Medical Result Received, it implies medical results passed. Good to know |

the mailing address in my parents' application is my canadian address... so it still goes to my address...
both Securuty ad Criminality not started...
Since the DMP sent results to local office, it might have been delayed. The local office letter would direct to your Canada address, that may take some time to reach you. Not sure, if this long though. |

Hi Eveyone
Does anyone who already had his parents undergo medical exam, let me know what exactly is it all about, what kind of exam they did? I want to have my mom prepared making a medical check up before going to medical test, to avoid re-doing in again.
I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what exactly are the common reasons for repeating an exam, or refusing someone based on exam results?

Do you have depndent in your file, CIC also recived my file on 13 Feb i havent herd anything from yet , nad we figur out from other memeber that ppl with dependent in the file is tacking longer, but right now few of teh ppl from that group started to get mail and update from CIC so i think within 2 week or so we will here too hopefuly you may wants to call CIC till you get the good agent and they may give you some detail

They send so many people for those extra tb x-rays/ tests...annoying (I personlaly know many - even for visitor visa). As soon as they spot any spot on the lungs, they do it. THis is kind of frustrating, because it delays the process (for most people - and all people I know who had to do those tests - it ended up being nothing in the end, but delay).
Rightly said, Anik, as i said , my mom is CIC's guinea pig. They found a spot on lungs(inactive TB), and the fiasco began. medical pe medical............took 7 months..........and it was Fortis in Mohali. Then upon arriving in canada, she had do one more TB test(inactive TB) and report to Peel Health. Peel health ultimately gave her a clean chit. Now i pray, Ottawa doesn't ask for those TB tests again, but i suspect they will ask for dem again. All members , lets take a poll. Do you think CIC will ask for TB tests again? |

Congrats you are one step closer.... CPC-M will make a decison... once they approved the sponsorship CPC-M send you a letter and transfer to a LVO or Ottawa, after that they request the medicalas and PCC |
