I got my parents UCI on their medical request forms. My parents did not visit Canada before so I did not have any other UCI. Have you received medical request?
No my file was moved on April 18,2012 to LVO and since then there is no communication or AOR. My Dad's UCI for visitor visa doesn't work if I try using his information to check the ecas status. I was wondering if we will get new UCI for their application from New Delhi Office? |

It should be the same UCI. At least, my mom's visitor's UCI works for checking her status for PR. Did you enter your dad's info with the UCI? I.e., HIS date and place of birth? |

somebody i personally know already got their parents and dependents visa.. one of her sister is already 23 and CIC didnt ask for any school records.. medical was done february and they applied october 2009 i think

If the dependent was under 22 at the time of the application, then the dependent does NOT need to be continuously attending school if he or she turns 22 after the application has been sent. The only time when that dependent becomes ineligible is if he or she gets married during the processing of the application. However, if at the time of application the dependent was 22 or over, then he or she would need to be attending school at the time of application to be eligible for sponsorship. And he or she needs to be continuously attending school and receiving financial help from the parents throughout the processing of the application. somebody i personally know already got their parents and dependents visa.. one of her sister is already 23 and CIC didnt ask for any school records.. medical was done february and they applied october 2009 i think

they do need to attend school after 22..
in my case and many other people i know they asked for educational docs..wheather or not the dependent was over or not over 22 at time of application.. can show u the letter if u want...
full time educational records prove that the person accompanying is "dependent" on parents

Theyre from Philippines and I dont know if the Letter was dated November 25. Theyre processing is kinda different from my parents as they submitted all generic form in 2009 and they've received medical request i think december or january and medical request are completed february 2012. They just received theyre visa today.

May be rarely they ask for proof of continuing education but mostly dependent do not need to be enrolled in studies.There are many cases on trackitt with dependents where they never asked for proof of education ,but for dependents over 22 I read problems if they do not continue.

well i have a question, my brother applied for my mother and me as a dependent for sponsorship in 2009... i was in continuous study at that time but now my studies are over , so should i again enrolled in continuous studies  ? any suggestions.They have asked for documents update at 30 march 2012. |

My parents received letter to do 4 additional tests for heart, medical was done on march 18, it tooks 2 month....now every test in another hospital and long line to do it.
