hi!
pls help me... we applied our parents for permanent resident 3 yrs ago, while the application is in process we decide to apply them for tourist and now they are here in Canada, but a letter came stated that Canadian Embassy Manila (Philippines) request to make medical examination. Is there a way to make their medical examination here in Canada rather that go back to the Philippines? pls help

my case:
sponsored in jan 2007
documents submitted in jan 2010 at visa office new delhi.
medical, passport and updated documents requested in may 2011 and sent in june 2011
my (dependent children) 2 marksheets requested in august 2011 and sent in same month.
father's police clearance certificates (other countries) sent on january 5th 2012.
6 month finished after medical sent.
any guess friends ?

As far as the medical goes, Once medical is done, within 1 year they will have to stamp your Passport. Considering there is nothing wrong in medical assessments. Did u get a call for Passport??? |

we did sent pp in june .nothing after that.....
If that's the case you should be getting PP back before June this year but remember nothing has to be wrong in medical..... I also think because Canadian Embassy's work slow down during X'Mas time, it might have delayed your process but any time soon you should have it back..... |

hello dear i really appreciate and nice of u thanks to sanj and pari for all of u guys as i am still waiting to get any letter from immigiration as i said before that i started sponsering at end of april 2009 but still did not get request for imm008 as i dont know whether i should call cic or wait abit more as if u guys give me any suggestion i i really appreciate
