Looking at the spreadsheet, there are 2 persons with dependents in their application for whom the application has been transferred to Ottawa.

rick you can send the original copy also no harm in it that way you are safe both side  thanks for reply, we are going to send original for both us and passport copies. hope CIC consider and do some fast process from local visa office. |

Ok, received a letter in the mail today dated April 13th, 2012 stating that they received my application on Jan27, 2012 and it is complete. They also provided a file # and that my file is now in the processing queue. On E-Cas, the status had already changed to "DECISION MADE" on April 27th. So waiting for the "DECISION MADE" letter now. |

Congrats Simran. I just called CIC and, even though i submitted "Representative Form" with the documents, I was not added as a rep for my mom by Mississauga. Call centre agent said it happens often and i need to fax the form to Mississauga again  IT will take them a few days to update and then call centre can check the status of PR file for me. I asked him if this happens often, he said: "Too often"  Oh, wow, 'nice'... Maybe I should call and check... Did you save a copy of the signed document from last time or will you have to ask your mom to sign the form again? I am afraid I did not save a signed copy :-( I did save the pdf files of completed forms of course but forgot to photocopy them once they were signed |

I have one more update: I just called CIC and the agent was so helpful. She informed me that they have mailed another letter to me on April 30, 2012 stating that I have been approved as a sponsor and that my file has been forwarded to the local visa office (Nairobi). Waiting for the letter now. I am not sure what the processing time is in Nairobi but I also submitted the PCC for my parents together with the application in Feb 2012. So I guess what's remaining is medicals and payment of fees.
gaggidhillon and Spons, no e-cas status change for me though.

Did they ask for PCC or did u submitted it earlier ,my file transfer to New Delhi on Jan 25 but no news yet and i have dependant on my file,they ask singhnx1 for PCC and additional document but no news for me yet
