Hi Everyone
I need your assistance with that please, I am filling in a use of representative form for my mother whom I am sponsoring and CIC sent me a letter requesting additional documents. So in section # 3 at IMM5476 form what should I fill in hereunder:
"If you have already submitted your application:
Name of office where the application was submitted.
Location of office
Type of application
(permenant residence, extension of study permit, etc.)"
or should I leave it blank??, if anyone who already filled a use of representative form could please assist me filling this portion, I would really appreciate.

I didn't know that I thought that only true translation is fine and notarized is not necessary.
it should be a notarized copy accompanied with a certified translation. |

Hello everyone,
I submitted the sponsorship application on Dec 2009, but every time I checked the processing time on CIC website I got disappointed, but today when I checked your Google doc, it gave me hope again. do you think it is a good idea to call them and check if there is anything new for my case, when do you think I may receive this additional document request? and another question please, when you said additional document requested could you please explain what kind of document do they usually request? Thanks.
According to the table in Google there were some people who applied in 2009 (from the beginning to November) and received the additional documents request in March and April. |

HELLO GUYS
i would like to send the forms to parents to sign them anyone knows which courier is fastest and best once and reasonable to south Asia to post the form ? do i really have to do that or is it also possible if i email the validated form imm008 so they just print the last page and sign ? so how it works that way what about u guys how u guys did ? i appreciate if u guys reply

Unfortunately, CIC call center is not very helpful. I suggest that you wait another couple of months and if by then you do not receive any letter fro. CIC. Call every day till you come across a good agent and get some answer. |

My fathers name on CIC Approval letter is not correct.The file was transffered to CPC-O. I have his scanned copy of the passport with me. Can i just email CIC at the email address provided on the letter to correct the name and attach the scans of the passport or should I send it by regular mail. My preference would be to use email.
Any advice or suggestions will be highly appreciated.
I suggest that you email them with correct information. Do not attach anything to your email because some Mai server may not let unknown attachments to go through. In you mail just mention that you have the scan and ask them to let you know if there is a need to send any proof. Most probably you don't need to send a scan of any document. |

I have noticed that some qusetioned seem to be frequently asked questions (e.g. Date on Indian national ID, preparing affidavits of birht certificate and marriage certificate, preparing lable in native language, etc)
I would like to suggest to those members who are usually answering these question to make a FAQ google doc with read permission for the group. So new members can read the FAQ before posting their questions.

Today I received the same letter from CPC-M, in the letter they said my application has determined to be completed and it will be process based on the date they received complete application on Jan 31, 2012....also my eCAS change to two lines...
