Hi Everyone
Does anyone know how much should I be paying for PR fees, I am only sponsoring my mother (No dependant), I already paid the $550 sponsoring fees when applying 3 years ago, but how much should I sent CIC for PR fees for one person.

In my opinion, this is not correct. You can submit the PCC even after 6 months as long as date of issue of the PCC is less than 3 months from the date of your application (for PR).
But yes, if you know that your file was transferred (local or pilot), its best to mail them the pcc.
Hmm, not sure about that - interesting interpretation  Did you hear it from someone or is it just your understanding? Though the problem with that is which date they now consider the 'application for PR' date. My father's online status shows up as 'we received your application for PR on December 25, 2007" (which is actually close to when I submitted my application to sponsor them. The case transfer date does not seem to show up anywhere. Before the current process people submitted PR application after the case was approved at stage 1, so the stage 2 submission date was more defined. |

good to know. thanks Shuga. I asked my parents to apply for PCC in my country it takes minimum 1 month to get and I was worry what happen if that expires because getting it is too much hassle in there. |

Mssissauga immigration office received my application for sponsoring my parents in May of 2011. I know I have to wait for a long time. But could anyone of you guess how do I have to wait.

Considering that they are now processing 2008, 2009 and even some from 2007, I would say, don't expect to hear from CIC before 2013. |

Yes, and what it means is that, if your pr application date is Jan1 2012 then the date of issue of the pcc should not be earlier than sep 1 2011. If your pcc is dated any time after sep1 2011 you can submit it at any point in time. Though the validity of a pcc is a year from the date of its issue. |

Just a thought, could be co-incidence. I think these are initials of the officer processing the case & not general term.
Btw, the sponsorship approval was send as email (PDF), no letter was ever mailed.
I had also received email last week that they have complete information to process my sponsorship case & also got AOR in Jan when they received my additional documents.

Nowhere does CIC says you cannot submit pcc later than 3 months of its issue. as far as the confusion regarding the date of application, I would go by the document that asked us to initiate the process for getting the pcc which was nov 25th in my case. |
