Great, thanks! Now, I wish we had some dates in there but with local VO it is probably at least a couple of months for AOR (though some people here did mention receiving AOR) Those transferred to local VO - please update this column for yourself if you get any AOR! Hope it will be soon for all of us! |

You may call them ask any general questions, but if you want to talk about a specific application then you need to provided more information. if we can cic to ask just general question do we need to provide our case number and information or for general question they dont ask case and name ?

That is a great news for all who have dependents on file. I know for fact that New Delhi has issues visa to applicants from August 2007, and everybody else is in the same boat( Nov 25 document request). Most of these have gone to Ottawa so the few that are going to local VO should be processed fast. Now sure as fast as Ottawa but with all dependent cases going to Ottawa, local VO would certainly have less traffic.
After reading these post I am trying to understand about the file transfered to Ottawa. Can anybody please confirm me if their parents and dependent not in Canada and still the file trasfered to ottawa??? My Details.... Application - 11th Nov 2007 Doc. Request - 25 Nov 2011 Doc. submitted - 11 feb 2012 AOR -Waiting Dependent - Yes |

Its a pilot project so all files cannot be transferred, after following 3 forums there is no common ground as to why the files goto local VO Last draw in the hat: Parents over certain age = Local VO   |

I didn't send affidavit for birth and marriage certificate of my parents when cic ask for the additional documents in Nov 25.I am thinking to send it now as i don't want to delay my parents immigration( after waiting 4 years).
Can anybody help me with the format of birth and marriage affidavit.
I will really appreciate the help?

it seems that your file is already approved and transferred to Ottawa. Do you think you need to send Birth and Marriage Certificate now? If CIC did not specifically asked for these document and approved your file, I think you do not need to submit these document anymore... |

I read in some previous thread CIC ask for affidavits with medical request...again, they still has to approve file from parent side too. |

I dont think u should send them that because first it will put u behind...second when u did your papers ur passport was not expired right? if yes then yeah maybe but if it wasnt expired then deffinately not in my opinion |
