Have you already received acknowledgment letter from your local VO after transfer?
I have not seen anyone moving forward much with local VOs yet (unlike ottawa...) At most, some people got AOR email or letter after a couple of months I believe...

My parents received email from New Delhi VO mailbox re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca with pdf attachement.
telling us that they received application for permanent residence in  Canada in family class on 04/15/2008 an created a file
with number indicated  above and provided some processing time grid which is out dated as processing timeis much
faster than listed onthe table. There are other information on the pdf/letter. Besides that we didn't receive anything.

hello guys
so is it  only one form imm008 that needs to be validated before sending the last page of it to parents to sign it ?  so other forms like Background declaration form IMM 5669, ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION FORM IMM 5406 and  Representative form IMM 5476   they do not need any validation as there is not as seem basic forms  so  just send the signing pages for parents that is all ?    if u guys can make clear about it  because i am sending them soon to parents to sign all pages   i appreciate if u guys reply
thanks so much

I have the same situation as yours, actually my mom used to have birth certificate and I thought that everything will be easy for me, but now after I phoned her to confirm the availability of the documents, she mentioned that she cannot find her birth certificate in our native language, Imagine I have it already translated and certified in English, but can not get a copy of the original one in native language. I asked before and was told to get an affidavit from a lawyer where my mother has to be infront of him and swear that she was born in the country at that day. What I need to know if someone can help we with that I already contacted my lawyer back home, but he does not have the form in English, and thought if any one of you guys have done an affidavit before in English could give me the form in English so my lawer can issue it in English rather than going through the translation and certification as true copy which is quite a hassle back home especially that my mom is all by hersel there and she is over 76 years old.
I would really appreciate that, this would be of a great help to me.

Thanks everyone

That reason still does not justify if the sponsor does not meet LICO requirement. That reason is related after LICO requirement is completed. Anyhow, whatever the reason is, we have to submit anything they ask or else....... Smiley

LICO is one requirement which must be met along with several other. All requirements must be met during Stage 1 of the process for Sponsorship Approval. There might be a process in which order the requirements are checked, it really does not matter in what order they are checked. Though, CPC-x may just reject the sponsorship if any of the requirements is not fulfilled or they may ask for more information before making a decision to deny or approve.

As none of us has the knowledge of exact process being followed, it is just individual thoughts which we all share with or without any justfication.
