Well pari, mine is different as i sent originally on jan 23, asked to submit affidavits, and re-submitted docs on feb 23,2012.
So i guess jan 23 is still the date for me.
Isn't it weird how they approve some sponsors with missing affidavits or certificates and request others to resubmit...Does not apply to me as we did have birth/mariage certificates available - but this just demonstrates how inconsistent they are... |

Also want to know that which address sponsorship application had to sent

P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4
I sent to the first one as letter from cic said for address at (1)
which is right as i am confused cause did not get any response till date

wow - congratulations! my status is still application received... medicals were delivered to the LOCAL medical office on March 8...
Thanks Shuga! I was worried if we made a right desision sending it to Ottawa. We did medicals on 20th, doctor said he mailed them out on the 22nd March, not sure regular courrier or express, but I would say it did take couple of days to come from Europe. Seems they updated file pretty fast. Now I am hoping she will not need to do any additional tests. |

i might be wrong - but i think that when status changes to medicals received it means that you passed the medicals and there will not be any additional test... |

Just got off the phone with a CIC agent (decided to follow other people steps and bug them again trying my luck with a different agent  ) Now, this one told me: have you not received an EMAIL on April 12? (which is the date that my decision made status states as letter sent date) I said No (and yes, I check my email all the time including junk mail just in case - and I already got an email from CIC before so the address they have is correct). She put me on hold and then came back and said that I should wait till the end of the week or so to receive an EMAIL and if not, call them back :-) When I asked about which visa office and whether she can see that, she said "We do not see this information" So, it seems like they definitely have not yet figured out that whole mail vs. email communication process - sometimes they send emails, sometime mails or maybe their system randomly generates something Anyway, I need a bit of patience to wait a bit more... (hope at least it is not a negative decision...I do not even know if we can believe anything we hear from agents) |

Congrats!
Followed up with CIC today, they have transferred my file to CPC-O for processing  Good that it did not went to New Delhi  Pari4u, please update your signature with correct url link. it has htpps, it should be httpsI suggest everyone else who is regular on this forum to as well have this signature so new users also update their status, this will help us track how CIC is processing Parent cases. |

yes... there is a person from trackitt forum - he got request for additional tests from Ottawa but his status has not changed... so Ottawa received his medicals but did not update the status... |

first one is right address, do you have depndent in your file if yes then you are in same boat as few of us , my doc also reched to CIC on Feb 13 havent heard anything from them yet ppl after me from feb 15 to 20 did recived the some what of letter or approval who didnt have depndent on their file, on this form we have sponser whos add doc got recived on 26 january and have dependent in them havent recived anything yet. |
