Hi I have been following the thread for a while now. Wanted to update that I got additional documents request today. The letter is dated March 30th.
I applied in June 2009. So i guess they are now asking for additional documents from June 2009 applicants.
hello dear Ross_Tay and Karan1916 congratulation to you both guys i am glad that cic started sending letters for 2009 applicants as mine is april 2009 but i didnt get any letter now as what do u guys suggest should i wait abit more or how and can u guys please do me a favour can u guys please share what they ask from you guys as which forms and documents and also can u tell me when u check you case online at ecas does it mention there about this request forms and documents that cic send u guys as i appreciate thanks alot |

do u guys live in ontario as i live in west part of canada so does it mean it takes more days that i get the letter and also can u guys check online at ecas as in mine it says nothing whether they sent additional forms or not as it does not say online

I emailed Ottawa and explained everything as well as attached the forms that the Embassy sent to my mom (IMM1017). Fingers crossed!

I just received a mail from CIC. I am approved and my case is trasnfered to Ottawa Pilot Centre.
Congrats, so u got email before the letter ( dated March 28th ). Mine is also March 28th..so lets see BTW, when does local office email? |

dont think so, ecas changed only after 1 month of them receiving the additional docs |

Yes I live in Ontario. So maybe worth waiting a couple of days. My ecas hasn't changed. Probably wont change until they approve the application. Hopefully you will receive the letter soon. For me they asked for Option C Relationship proof to the sponsor Marriage Proof IM-0008 and other forms for PR The letter also says to start preparing for Police Certificates but that's not in Document Checklist. Hopefully this helps |

Hi, I think you should receive this letter very soon. I know somebody who applied in June 2009 and has already received this letter. The list of their requirement is very long. Hi I need help with IM-0008 form. My parents are in India. Box 4 of the application talks about Immigration Office Requested for processing this application - What should I write there. Should it be New Delhi or can I say Ottawa. Would appreciate your input. Thanks |
